Hi,
This may be in the documentation, but in case it isn't,how many lines of code can Mach3 handle in 1 file?

10,000,000 for a licensed version, 500 for Demo (100 for Turn Demo)

Thanks, that should be enough!

;D

I take it Mach3 behaves impeccably right up to the limit?
-
No idea, never used more than a few tens of thousand lines.

Then we shall see...

Be sure to post back and tell us.
I just looked and the biggest I have done was 67,476 lines but I am sure lots have done much more.

I'm running 375,000 right now on a 1Ghz PIII. I need to turn off the toolpath before running, but other than that, it works fine.
-
Cool! Can anyone beat that?

I typically cut 600,000 lines (+ - a few) engraving lithophanes. Never a problem with Mach3 burping.

Lithophane... learn something new every day. Do you have pictures, or links to pictures? I'm curious to see what you do...

If it comes out OK, I'll post a picture in an hour or so.

OK, trying to post a picture again - don't know what happened other two tries.
This is a smaller litho I did recently.

Hope I haven't messed up this thread. I can not see anything but a solid blank screen on page 2 for some reason. Strange ?

First Litho I ever tried.

I've run over a million lines before on some large patterns. 30 - 40 hour continuous cut times with no problems. Unless of course you forget to turn off the tool path display before you load!
