THIS IS DEDICATED TO "HOOD"
« on: April 27, 2010, 09:55:46 PM »
A great thanks goes out to Hood for all the dedicated time and effort he has provided to the users of this forum.
You may not be aware of it, but he has provided over 10,000 replies which is an achievement in itself.

Wouldn't it be nice if all users of Mach showed their appreciation to Hood by sending him a personalized thank you?  >:D

Of course this presents a good opportunity to ask a few TRIVIA QUESTIONS:

1. What was Hoods first question posted on the forum ?
2. The subject was taken in part from an oldy but goody , can you name that tune?
( HINT: No getting mushy with Hood now!)
3. What did reply # 1000 address?
4. How long does it take to post 10,000 replies?

Thanks for your support now and in the future  Hood, consider this my personal message to you, ;)
RICH

Yes!!

Thanks Hood for so many fast and accurate replies...
He sometimes gives the solution before I can even understand the problem

I agree 100%!   It's people like Hood who make a forum outstanding!

If he's not on Art's payroll, he should be!

Appreciate the thanks but  its not needed, people were kind to me when I started, especially John Prentice so its great to be able to give something back.

Above and Beyond the Call of Duty.
That's for sure !  ( I think there's a medal for that. Anybody got a router...or engraver...or mill ?)
Would be an interesting challenge to see any fitting designs.
Thanks for everything Hood.
I am privileged to have been acquainted with you.
Kind regards,
Russ

This is a very good reason to go to my Kitchen for a "small" glass of Scotch -
Hood I salute you.

When I first started reading Rich's post I thought he was going to say
Hood was retiring. OH NO!!!
I do not know him personally, be he has answered many of my
learning curve questions.
I marvel at the way he approaches posted problems. I'm thing out in
left field and he simply asks a few basic questions and gets the guy going.
My thanks and appreciation!!!
