Title: THIS IS DEDICATED TO "HOOD"
Post by: RICH on April 27, 2010, 09:55:46 PM: A great thanks goes out to Hood for all the dedicated time and effort he has provided to the users of this forum.
You may not be aware of it, but he has provided over 10,000 replies which is an achievement in itself.

Wouldn't it be nice if all users of Mach showed their appreciation to Hood by sending him a personalized thank you? >:D

Of course this presents a good opportunity to ask a few TRIVIA QUESTIONS:

1. What was Hoods first question posted on the forum ?
2. The subject was taken in part from an oldy but goody , can you name that tune?
( HINT: No getting mushy with Hood now!)
3. What did reply # 1000 address?
4. How long does it take to post 10,000 replies?

I do not know him personally, be he has answered many of my
learning curve questions.
I marvel at the way he approaches posted problems. I'm thing out in
left field and he simply asks a few basic questions and gets the guy going.

Giving to anyone, at any time, whatever the reason, reading the rantings of madmen from across the pond and world, and keeping your head level under undue attack!
When I had many problems with my machine you saw me on here enough to be tired of my first avatar (man running around a tree over and over) (Now do you remember? :D), But you were patient and helped me until my lathe ran great.

His prompt replies and on the mark diagnosis were brilliant and solved several problems. He never gave up on me, thanks HOOD. I have already given him a kightHOOD arise Sir Hood.
