Quick questions about LazyCam
« on: January 14, 2010, 01:07:12 PM »
Hello,
I am importing text from corel draw into LazyCam,  all that works fone but how can i get the path to cut the inside of the letters first i.e cut the circle out of the "a" and then the outside, because at the moment is does the outside , then the letter is moving when it is doing the inside  :-[

I have been searching for a fix now for ages but couldnt find anything,  could someone please explain how to do it or point me to a thread please.

Thanks in advance.

Gaz.

Have you taken a look at Tutorial #4 in the LazyCam Manual on text?

Hi
can anybody tell me is it possible to use newest version of Mach without LC
Importing PLT files directly in Mach from Corel  is much easier because you define layers in Corel with different colors and just set speed and depth
Thanks

JASKO,
You need to provide a file which contains the code to machine the part ( ie; a file which has Gcode).
So if Corel can post process the information into a file used for machining you would be good to go!

You can use Mach without LC installed.

Someone posted a link to the old importer the other day, but I don't know where it's at. Somewhere here in the forum.
