What is your  resolution set to ?
Tried these:

800 x 600  Unusable, General Config does not even fit on screen.

1024 x 768 Better but has the problem that I first described  (my preferred screen size)

1280 x 1024 Better still on my desk top (not possible on my laptop)

had the same problem. screen resolution was the only fix i could come up with too.

 Sorry, I keep missing this one because my monitor is a wide screen and reacts differently, Ill put thi son todays list..

Yay!!!  Screens fixed for me on 2.0b also.

The problem of the slow running frequency count that appeared in Ver 2.0a has also gone away.
