Mach3
« on: August 30, 2009, 09:23:20 PM »
I just downloaded Mach3 off the website onto a desktop computer with XP and 512 Memory.  Every tap file I run  shows up on the display as a dot in the middle of the display and you can not see the movement as the gcode cycles.  Did I do something wrong?  ray

Ray,

Just zoom in - Shift-Drag up and down with the mouse to zoom.

Thanks Ray L.  I will do that.  This version has LazyCam as a seperate installation.  The one I have on my laptop in the shop (also XP) must be an earlier version. (I haven't looked yet).  Ray

Also make sure you've enables the axes and set up your motor tuning to some realistic (if imaginary) values, or it may not play. Had this problem on a laptop recently that I was using for simulation only.
