Gerber Dimension 200 Router
« on: June 09, 2009, 04:42:17 PM »
Recently purchased a used Gerber Dimension 200 router, without any software. The Mach 3 output is parallel, the Gerber needs serial input to the ARC controller. Saw a post from last year with no solution. Any help out there?

Afraid your only option will be to find out how things are conected and then if possible rewire for the parallel port.

Signman, the Gerber system is proprietary so can't be easily converted.

The ARC station is a micro controller and servo driver all in one, it communicates with the Gerber software and does not accept step/direction type inputs.
