yes, a button on the mpg that enable a button on the screen which functions to record the coordinates X, Y, Z.

What make of pendant do you have?
If you can set the button to be an OEM Trigger then the easiest way would be to get the MachMad plugin and use that to call a macro when it sees the button push. You could then write a macro to do what you want.
