Problem configuring ncpod
« on: May 14, 2009, 01:33:13 PM »
Hello all,

I have a problem to setup mach3 for ncpod.
The communication between Mach3 and ncpod is OK, but I don't manage to setup the soft to make move motors.
The following picture is my actual setup of mach 3, please tell me what is wrong.

You have not set any pin numbers for step and direction.

You need a "Plug in" for Mach3 to use the USB port.
Try this one.

I already install this.

My ncpod and mach3 communique well, but motors don't turn.

I think I did'nt setup then properly in mach3, that's the problem.

So, I don't know if it's necessary to put pin number for step and dir ?
If I have to do that, do you know what pin number I have to put for step and dir setting up for motors?

Unfortunatly,  I didn't find the answer to my problem yet.

However, I thank you again to contributing to that.

I would un install Mach3 and any NC POD drivers. Re install Mach3 without the parallel port driver. then install the NC POD drivers.
