It appears that auto clean is the issue in #2.  i can create a drill layer and move all holes to it.  but if i hit autoclean the holes move back to the original layer and that new layer disappears.

I'd like the ability to remove an entire layer if I want to

Also I'd like to see the ability to rename a new layer after I've misspelled it originally

I just downloaded this version, i like the new features but have a few comments.

1) I specify a tool on a layer in LC, tool change appears in Mach3 G-code but when i run the toolpath test the tool offsets don't work .
Yes i checked to see that both tools are defined in M3.

2) I created a new layer in LC and moved all my drill holes to that layer.
exported to M3.  when i imported it back in from M3 to LZ the drill layer disappeared.

3) just being picky.  When you start moving chains to a new layer the default should be whatever the last layer choice was.
EX i define a new layer for drill.  everytime i go to another hole to move to the new layer i have to scroll down and fine drill layer.
stupid me I've fat fingered the mouse and messed up a couple of time.

Your products are great keep up the good work.

In the past I've asked that conversion from machined hole to drill be put on a separate layer.

I see that everyone wants the cut reorder

How about adding offset start by a specific amount not usign the mouse.  Moving with a mouse is not as accurate.  Example.  Move to Min xy materail ( working now) then add button to apply a specific numeric offset to position file point for a  fixture.  I prefer offest in LC as to MACH3 (maybe just me)

Thanks for all your hard work

LazyCam (Beta) / Mew layer for Drill chains.

I would like to suggest that when the "drill circle" button it used you move them to a complete new layer under the Layer control option

Several reasons.

it will let me control the order of the drill cycle and control the number of tool changes required.
It will let me have controll over different speeds, depths and drill cycle subroutines than other layer
when import an old file running on Mach3 back into LC the drill points are not brought back in.              .

I got the Jog Speed working
Turns out there is a joystick function in keygrabber that works.

Still need to get E-stop into Key grabber any suggestion

I would like to program the following functions into Keygrabber can someone tell me the Key sequences

JOG speed + = 111
Jog speed -   = 112
E stop           =192

How can I get these into Key Grabber.
Is there a physical key associated with the above functions.
Keygrabber appears to be looking for a physical Keypress and will not let me do manual entry.
Is there a workaround.
