I just download the demo of Mach 2 for my maxnc 10 ol got all the driver (from the forums ) the motor sound as if they are trying to step but there is no movement i am at a lost i want to be able to manual step the machine before i buy the software.

Did you check Max NC mode under the ports and pins?

Do you have any info on the pinout of your drives? I am thinking that you are not running the wave drives.... I am sorry I have never seen the MaxNC drives or worked with them... But I will do my best!

no i do not have the pinout of the drives i will call maxnc today and try and get the pin outs from them

I am new to the forum and I have Maxnc 15 CL that I try to get going with mach but I had the same problem as you.
did you get your machine to work?

There are docs for the pinout on the FTP server
I will see if I can get an XML from a guy that I helpped out that other day and post it on the FTP server
