Is it just my imagination or does a desktop system just work better , everything went great upgrading from my laptop to desktop including importing all the settings but when I try to access the pins settings In the config menu I get this warning..... ???

Hi Peter

I have just been through a similar experience, problem with my PC, had to build another, transfer went perfectly, and i did it as follows.

Copied the old Mach3 directory over to the new PC

On the new PC i installed Mach3 as per normal

Never saw that one. Make sure you you reboot per installation instructions. The latest test veresions  automaticaly
do a reboot. May want to try downloading and reloading again. Post the version you are installing.

Peter, that looks like a flash screen, possibly it might have to do with that?

Possibly try a standard screen and see if you still have that issue?

The only time that will come up is if I go into the config editor and try to access port and pins everything else is accessable - other than that since I over wrote the new install with the mach3 system from the laptop everything is as it was on the laptop , works beautifully and much smoother , and I did the reboot . Its no big deal since everything still functions at 100% but was curious if Art can shed some light on this one
