When I do a Ref-All on the axis, I get a flashing normal/abnormal lite.  What caused this condition?????????????

Hi, Inivator

The normal/abnormal button will flash if you've changed some settings in Mach, I haven't seen a complete list anywhere.

If everything is acting normal, You can double click on the button and re-set it to be your normal state.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Just double click on it to set it as normal condition, probably its flashing because your normal condition previously was using an Un Refereced system, now you are doing the referencing Mach is seeing something different so is wondering if its normal or not, as it is you need to tell Mach it is :)

Nope, just tune each axis to what it runs best at, Mach will use different settings no problem in its calculations :)

SINCE I HAVE THE LIMITSWITHES WORKING, NOW ANOTHER PROBLEM HAS ARISEN.  I'M DONG MULTI-DEPTH CUTS IN PLYWOOD, .060 AT A TIME, BUT NOW I AM LOSING POSITION IN BOTH X AND Y AXIS.  I'M ONLY GOING .182 DEEP TOTAL AT A FEEDRATE OF F4, THE FIRST TWO PASSES SEEM OK, THEN I START LOSING POSITION.  I HAVE CHECKED FOR BACKLASH, AND  HAVE NONE.

ALSO, THE AXIS SEEM TO HESITATE JUST BEFORE IT STARTS TO LOOSE POSITION.  I'M DOING MANY SMALL ARCS, AND AT THESE STARTING/ENDING POINTS ARE WHERE IT SEEMS TO STOP OR HESITATE...............???????????????
