Yup, Overloaded is right I bet. Do you have any scaleing values in your scaleing dros? Small dros just beside the axis dros on the program run screen. Should be 1:1.

i bet i do never notice ill have to run to the shop and see the people where i bought made there own screen so it is diferent than the default screens thanks for your help ill get back and post my findings

You might enter a G50 in the MDI to be sure all scaling is cancelled and reset to 1:1, then try the move again.

thanks a lot for your help i got a hold of tec support and he thinks i must of typed in 2000 instead of 20000 steps under moter tunning ill double chek that in the morning agian thanks

the problem started when i ran a file i got from the vectric forum could it had been what was in the g codes that changed the settins i know i didnt

Follow these steps..if your steps per is 2000, make it 20000 then be sure to save, then try the Z move again.
