in my driver test, the freq. is 25997, is this a problem being too high, how do i change it if it is?

I cant see that being a problem - mine is around 24,000 - on this computer. I haven't tried the workshop computer, but the driver test says it's OK.

You've been on with this for quite some time, what's the problem.
Not me driving the engine - I'm better looking.

Hi, Larry

What Stepper/driver board are you using, Try the Sherline 1/2 step mode, Your board may need more time to see Mach's Pulses.

Try that first, Thar's a doc to optimize Windows if needed. http://www.machsupport.com/downloads/XP_Optimization.txt
