I try not to use the Wizards in Mach3. I think they pretty much offer a disclaimer of non-authorization. Your problem is probably starting and ending there. Try to find a program or ad-on that performs the duty you want and you should get better results!

Good Luck!!!

The turn wizards work great for me, always have, and I've never had an error with them. I'm using turn 1.84 FWIW, which seems to be the last real updated version of turn there is.

Dont use the wizards much but on the occasions I have done they work fine.
What computer do you have? can you try turning off the toolpath to see if it helps.

It seems its not the wizard but the second time I try to load any g-code mach spews out artcode 709 errors till mach self terminates.
Thanks Drew

so what does artcode 709 mean? is there a list of artcodes? i'm getting this error when loading gcode files. The files are good, nothing but some tool changes for testing.

ArtSoft no longer supports Mach 3 and has their hands full trying to get Mach 4 to work which doesn't look promising. Good luck trying to get a response for a Mach 3 error code.

Try turning off Watchdog's in General Config.

Why would any supplier stop supporting a working system until the new version is fully 100% up and running and mostly de-bugged??

Makes no sense, i'm not denying it, just saying...
