Hello everyone,
I was given an older IBM PC with a small CRT monitor. They work OK together but I want to use the monitor on my Mach lathe.
It comes on with garbled static all over the screen when connected to my newer PC.
Is there a way to make this work ? Or am I making a futile attempt ?
Thanks for helping,
RC
Further investigation reveals that the old PC is an IBM 330 and the monitor is a Packard Bell PB8541VGG. And a date...Sept. 89.
Dang.....it's an ANTIQUE for cryin' out loud !
Thanks
And while it's booting up, the bios and Windows XP Pro is crystal clear...Then you can barely make out the log-on screen. Much static and diagonal lines everywhere.
