"Upgrading" from Mach4 to MachPro
« on: January 27, 2026, 04:27:03 AM »
Hi All,
Long time no post!
I don't see it explicitly stated, but can I run MachPro on more than one machine like we do with Mach 4 or is it $550/machine?
Is there/will there be support for an analog controller?

Mike
We never have the time or money to do it right the first time, but we somehow manage to do it twice and then spend the money to get it right.

Hi,

Current licensing structure for MachPro will be 1 License per machine.

There is currently support and planned support for the following motion controllers:
Vital Systems: Integra , EC01
PoLabs: Pokeys57CNC, Pokeys57CNCpro4x
Warp9: ESS
Trio: Flex6x
Kingstar: Kingstar Motion
Thanks,

Paul

Hello Paul,
Well that is not the news I wanted to hear. I don't believe any of those will do analog motion control and I have 2 machines that require it.
As of right now, I have one supported controller and 6 or 7 unsupported controllers running a mix of Mach 3 and Mach 4.
I will have to think long and hard about upgrading to Mach-Pro since a $1K-$2K upgrade per machine would be beyond my hobby budget.
If I were to actually start a business, things might be different.

As always,
Thanks for the information.
