strange but true...wierd axis confusion by mach3
« on: October 29, 2007, 02:22:43 AM »
got a strange one for ya...trying mach3 with my logitrol electronics.  Mach 2 worked fine...but with mach3, well...

I go into the plasma program of mach3, but just my x axis is nonresponsive.  Then I go into the mill program and the situation is reversed...just my y axis doesn't work.  My pins seems correct for both...i'm out of solutions...apprieciate any advice...the program looks great!

ps   also checked any disabiling options in settings/diag screens and switched cpu...thanks again :)

Please post your xml files for both plasma and mill and maybe I can find something wrong. You will need to rename then to post them here as the forum will only allow a file name to be posted once.

You cant use the Mach2 xml for Mach3, they are not compatible. You have to manually eneter the settings in Mach3 for the first time. After that any upgrades you do your settings will stay intact.
