Adding a second BOB
«

Hello All,
My Mill has a ESS connected a 5 Axis Breakout board (BOB) driving 4 motors and spindle. The ESS has 3 parallel ports and the first one is utilized by the current BOB. How do I configure MACH 3 to utilize the second BOB?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
there is a choice to make that you don't get with port1.
Pins 2-9 in ports 2 & 3 can either be inputs or outputs, and the choice is made in the ESS plugin.
Port1 pins 2-9 are always outputs.
