Not enough information given for people to help

But first rule out these:-
1. Work coordinates G54  is not yet defined so your motors cannot move outside of limits?
2. There is no F statement?
3. Gcode file is in mm without but G21 when your machine is in inches?
4. A rotary axis (like A or B or C) not correctly defined?
5. Reset button not pressed and {ref all home] not yet done?
6. Charge pump or enable signal not correct?
7. Soft limits triggered or limit switch triggered?
8. Fuse in control box has blown?
9. Axis set in wrong direction?

Thanks for your reply.
I found out the cause of the problem.   it was the mach3 cycle start   for all the years i been using Mach3 i only needed to press the cycle start button once to get the file cutting.  just by accident or frustration i press  the cycle start twice and the file started cutting.
Pressing once just started the timer going.
not sure why   any idea why?

Could there be a pause e.g for manual tool change in the program that requires another [cycle start]?

check  Config -> General Config -> Tool Change

anything is possible, just try to do it.
if you find some mistakes, in my bad bavarian english, they are yours.
