Demo version
« on: April 30, 2020, 11:40:49 AM »
Hi every one,
Just joined the forum after downloading the demo as advised before purchasing a licence.
I am a 66 year old from the UK just trying to find a retirement hobby. Building my own cnc router and now ready to get it started!
I have a Mach 3 usb interface board, with 6650 drivers and nemo 23 motors. I cannot seem to communicate with the board, although the usb port sees something as the boards red light is blinking. After investigation i clicked driver test in the Mach program and it is saying "No driver sensed installed". Tried installing Special driver still no good. Might have made an error in downloading the parallel port driver? Running Windows 10 Ver. 1909.
Any ideas where i am going wrong? Many thanks in advance
Mike

On 64 bit versions of operating systems, Driver Test can not work because on these operating systems Mach3 can not access parallel port.
Post picture of your interface board so that we could try to help you.

You start typing your reply, then click on Preview button.
Here you have more options for message editing, as well as attaching images. There is + Attachments and other options, just below.
When you select an attachment, just click on Post button.
As you've seen, there is already a file called 1.jpg (hate this on this board - no duplicate file names  :( )

Ok thanks, out of 15 forums I belong to I have never had to ask basic questions like on this one, Mach 3 is easier than this lol
Hopefully you may now see a picture of the usb board

If your board has PWM output, connecting laser should be easy.
