Mach3 scaling issue
« on: February 18, 2020, 04:15:47 PM »
I currently have 2 CNC tables that both run the same program of Mach3, I just started my new CNC but for some reason the g-code loads perfectly normal and lays out on the screen to scale, but when I start the program on the new machine it follows the correct tool path but at a much smaller scale than the DXF drawing I imported into it to create the g-code. The same exact g-code runs fine on my slightly older machine, but the same exact g-code will not run properly to scale on the new CNC. What would cause this to happen? and how can I fix this issue? The file extension is an .NC and I am pretty sure I ran into this problem before but cannot remember what I did to correct it, I think it had something to do with the file extension.

maybe metric / imperial Units?

Config -> Select native units
anything is possible, just try to do it.
if you find some mistakes, in my bad bavarian english,they are yours.

When using manual movement commands, do the axis move the same amount and correct distance when comparing the two machines?
