X axis not working with code
« on: January 23, 2020, 10:24:07 AM »
Hello,

Im using the Aspire software to create my codes, and for some reason when i start the code the X appears to be moving in mm instead of inches but the Y and Z are moving just fine.  It also jogs just fine, but also when I put in G-code for any movement in X it seems to move small increments and displays the coordinates as if it moved an inch when again it only moved about a mm.

Any suggestions?

Is your X axis calibrated properly?

When I jog it everything is accurate. Everything is the same as before my teardown where it was working perfectly.

Attach part of G-Code that is troublesome.

I will attach my gcode later but this happens even when I manually enter a g0 x1 command.

Update:  I managed to get it working last night.  IDK if it is the cause of my new breakout board or some other issue but I increased my delay time from 0uS to 5uS and it works perfectly now.

As usual, too short Step pulses :)

Glad that you sorted it out.
