Good day.I have a inductive proximity switch fitted to my lathe with a Mach3 mod. It is a AE1/AP-1A.I want to use it foe speed and threadcutting. It is set up on my spindel to read once per revolution. Can you help me with the wiring and setup on pins and ports please? It is a PNP switcj.with 3 wires. Brown Black and Blue. Thank you

first off all we Need to know witch BOB/Motion controler you are using.
anything is possible, just try to do it.

Thank you. So if I change the PNP TO A NPN IT WILL WORK? I AM NOT SO CLUED UP ON ELECTRONICS.

Normaly yes, but you never know on this chinese stuff, until you have tryed it.

Thanks. I got a npn switch. Can you help me with the pin and ports please. I have it wired to the OV and 6-24V and pin 14 on input control ports.

IMHO i would say set INDEX Input to port 1 pin 14.

but i do not have any documentation of your controller
anything is possible, just try to do it.
