Lazy Cam Issues
« on: March 28, 2006, 02:43:45 PM »
Hi Brian,

I finally got Lazy Cam loaded and running. Looks like it's going to be a really nice tool when fully implemented.

But newbie that I am, I have a few questions/issues as follows:

1. I don't see the execute button that is shown on the video.

2. I can't rotate the image on the screen to see a 3d view. Rotation doesn't appear to work the same as Mach3.

3. No matter what I try I can't get it to generate more than 1 pass.

For instance if I set my final depth to .125 and depth per pass at .060. Lazy Cam seems to generate only one pass at .060

TIA,
Pat

OKay this is good :)
There is a bug so it can;t put out more than one pass depth :( The good side is that I have fixed it for the next release :)
There no longer is an execute button...
and to rotate the view press the middle mouse button.

Thank you
Brian

Hey Brian,

Once again thank you for your rapid response. Lazy cam now shows multiple passes graphically but the exported file is single pass, appears to be the first pass only.

Yes I'm using ver. 1.04 and all I see in Mach 3 is a single first pass

Hi Brian,

I just downloaded the 3/30/05 version of version 1.04 and now multipass G code is generated and seems to work correctly in Mach3

Thanks.
