Mach4 Lathe: Cutting a 7/24 taper for BT30

I've been reading this thread for some info and ended up with the initial settings you see in the attached image. I haven't tried it yet. Does this look OK to you?

OK I'm a little confused on the taper angle. Some say (half angle) 8.2971 and others say 8.1301 .

See the attached pic's for dimensions of a BT30 plug gage and spindle.
There is a tolerance on the basic 1.250" dimension. Doubt that you can hold it on your lathe.
Frankly should make a gage to check and refine the taper post turning. BTW, usually they are ground.

Don't use Mach4 lathe but will remark to make sure the code generated is for the mode your using
ie; diameter or radius.

Below is the Gcode to turn a BT30 taper using Mach3.  I wrote this some time back, actually using a spreadsheet to do the calcs and generate the code.  I attach the spreadsheet as well.  It seemed to work as the taper fitted the socket on my Novamill pretty well.
