x, y and z keyboard commands

on our mach3 program the x, y and z keyboard commands do not work correctly. how can we fix this?

you could start by telling us about your machine and PC.

Are you using a parallel port for instance?

Define "not correctly". If they work, but move the wrong axis or the wrong direction, than it's quite possible that your machine is setup incorrectly.

If they don't work at all, try Config > Hotkeys.

it's mach3 2.0, vortech router 3axis  and think the pc is vista that came with the machine when we got  it brand new. our x axis key is moving z axis. the  z axis keys move on the screen but not the motor, x axis keys move on the screen but not the motor. same as with y axis.   thank you.

So some of the motors don't work at all, even if you run g-code?

If the machine was working, it sounds like your installation has become corrupted.

we have not tryed g code yet we will try. and the pc is xp not vista. and when we turn on max CL  z works on x keys  and y axis works right x axis wont work. with max CL off all axis move on screen on the right keys but no motor movement. thank's for your time and help on this matter.

we ran g code program the axis moved on screen also too path worked, no motor movement spindle did not come on. ran thur whole program and rewind.
