Anyone interested in getting the ModuleWorks plugin for Mach4 can for a limited time and save some money. See our page at the following link for details.

http://www.machsupport.com/3d-cutting-simulator-moduleworks-plugin/

I have included a screen shot you can use to compare the standard tool path to the ModuleWorks Simulator.

;D If you could see the things I have in my head, you would be laughing too. ;D

Just looked at it Stuart. Sorry, but it will not work without a license.

Thanks for the reply

But that does go against the rest of the offerings try it and if you are 100% happy then buy the lic.

I will give it some thought to see if the pension can support it  ;D

Houston we have a problem

As I said in my post it will not load the dll library files DTG has tried also and failed to get it to load

Now the problem it will not load after doing the install , yes I get the green screen

But where in the blue blazers is the drop down menu option to get the PID so I can buy a lic.

All your other offerings have an about tab with the info on them to get the PID and to install the lic file

A very confused Stuart ;D

I'm not surprised. As I said, it will not work without a license.

Well, ModuleWorks isn't our product so the chances of them doing things like we do is slim to none.

The only place I know you can buy a license is on our webpage. See the link in my first post.

I seem to be having a bad communication day

yes I hear you I need a lic. but when I try to by one it requests a PID number to tie it to my pc

but where do I get the required PID is it the one from the Mach4 about drop down ?

I have look and I cannot find anywhere to obtain the required information

steps taken download the file, run the installer , start the mach4 loader , select the mwmodual profile , press OK , get Failed to loadmwsim.m4pw library ( error 0 completed successfully ) now where do I go to get the info that your lic. purchase page requires

Oh, yeah...... I was understanding you. Yes, you get the PCID from the Mach4 about drop down.

Chaoticone,
I purchased the license and had issues getting it to do anything.
There is no documentation.
No sample as shown in Screen Movie or Screen shot.
I have had no response from support.
After a few hours I found that you had to populate the Tool Table.
You have to figure out that you need to also put values in the Colors to make the Tool and Cut other than black.
On you website you have a display cut with multiple colors, how is this done?
http://www.machsupport.com/3d-cutting-simulator-moduleworks-plugin/
Where does the Simulation Tab get the sizes and Tool location X/Y and Z height from?
Example:
Actual Cylinder size should be 51 Radius 10 High, but it starts off at 100 Radius and 50 High.
X/Y/Z is all ZERO Top and Center of Cylinder, but the Tool shows through the other side.
Have to make an approximate guess of the value of Z = -44.7, in the G-Code it starts off Z20 and then goes down to Z0 and after several cuts down to Z-3.25.
So how do you get the correct height of the Material guess?
Is there a way to configure a Tapered Ballnose or D-Bit cutters in the Tool Table, if not will this ever be introduced into this module?
Will this Module ever support 4 Axis simulation?
Will the final release have these features.
Other than these issue it does do a nice job.
Regards,
Mauri.

Mauri, I'm not sure on any of those. Been a while since I got to look at it and was very brief then but I will try to find out for you.
