OEM trigger quantity
« on: July 19, 2016, 02:42:39 AM »
Hi everyone,

Recently I got a Ethernet smoothstepper which can support more inputs and outputs for use. I have and pendant and other external devices like toolchanger that totally need more than 15 oem triggers to be operated. Does anybody know how many this triggers exactly are available in Mach3? If there is not enough, how can I operate those extra devices?

Thanks in advance.

How about user-define inputs, my pendant consumed 10 oem trigger inputs, i need 13 more these inputs for other use. Is it available in Mach3? For hardware,  they are available because the 2nd and 3rd ports' 2-9 pins can be configured as inputs.

With the smooth stepper you will need to enable ports 2 and 3 as inputs, within the plugin config, ess configuration settings too.

If after all that you don't have enough inputs... you can add a Pokeys too....

In Mach3 configure input and output page, for user-define use, there are 15 oem trigger inputs and 4 separate inputs. Are they the alll the quantity that are for user to define the corresponding ports and pins on the hardware?
