Pokeys57CNC -- Motors Dont move
« on: May 01, 2016, 09:36:10 AM »
Hello

I am very new at this.

I have got 2 phase Nema 34 type motor + encoder and driver for it. (Motor is 12Nm holding torque). Please see attached photos.

Please Find attached Datasheet for HSS86 Driver:

http://cncdrive.com/datasheets/2HSS86H.pdf

I have wired Pokeys57CNC and my Hss86 Hybrid servo driver like this:

(PUL+)Hss86 ------> Step (Pokeys57CNC)
(DIR+) Hss86 -----> DIR (Pokeys57CNC)
(ENA+) Hss86 ------> AXenable (Pokeys57CNC)

PUL- ; DIR- ; ENA -;    --------- > GND (Mottor Connector Pokeys57CNC)

Is this Correct?

I have Installed Mach3 software and Pokeys Plugin for it. I have connected Pokeys57CNC  via ethernet cable. Mach3 detected it.
I did these sttings in Match3.

Any Ideas Why Motor dont move?

Make sure that you select 'External 4ch with IO' as Pulse engine type in the PoKeys plugin configuration.

E stop is working, I can Run sample G Code, on Mach 3 screen it shows that X;Y;Z Axis moving, but motor dont move. Checked motor it gets power and etc, and it seems he is waiting for command, he holds its current position (I have tried to move shaft with my hand could not manage to do it when system is on) I can move it easily when power cable is of.

Please find attached my config file.

Did you try checking 'Invert enabled output' in the plugin settings?
