Try Bx400

When I enter that value it closes the window. I re-open it and find the value set to Oxb

Same here, it may be that you need your PP to occupy one of the common legacy addresses (all mine do) for it to work, what PC and OS are you using

The PC connected to it now for testing purposes is a newer HP on Win7.
I know M3 wants XP, but I figured I'd be able to get the motor turning on the newer OS.
Maybe not.

The shop PC is older with XP.

version R3.043.066

I did enter B400. the config box closes when I hit <enter>.
When I reopen the config>ports and pins the value has changed to 0xb

Please check that you are using a 32 bit version of Win 7 (64 bit versions do not work with the parallel port).

Tweakie.
PEACE

That is probably the issue on this home PC.
I'll take it back out to the shop and try again.
