I'd like the router to shut down after tool-paths are cut
« on: January 05, 2016, 06:37:22 AM »
I am learning every day, Mach 3 is a fool proof program with more features than I will ever use.  Question, I run Vectric Aspire, send to mach, I manually turn the router on, run the tool-path, then have to manually turn the router off.  How can I set the router to turn off after the tool paths have been run?  Im sure its fairly simple, just haven't  been able to find it.

Check out SuperPID.

Other ways to do it if you just want on and off, as in using a relay, but why not go for RPM control too!

I just ordered a solid state relay with 3 -5 volt input
assigned a pin to it. Wired it to 110V with a plug.
Then when I called I believe a m3 it would turn on
and m4 to turn it off. Works great.
