dxf to g code dimension problem
« on: October 16, 2015, 05:12:09 AM »
Hello everyone ,
I have problem with converting dxf to nc. I have a lot projects made in tango pcb, in that program am able to export file like dxf, that dxf i load to nc plot to generate g code but dimensions are always a lot smaller than in tango. For a start i make square 100x100mm to make it simple. Is there something i didnt do right ?, Every advice is welcomed . Thanks !

My guess is that Tango PCB is exporting the dxf in the wrong units.

Tango PCB exports .dxf in imperial units. If your machine is set in metric units, be shure to add G20 at the beginning of your G code.
