Steve. Ezilathe is checked out with up to R2018 Ascii dxf's. It could be that unsupported entities were present (but not available in R14).

Any new updates I should be using, as it has been a while.

Hello Veloman11
Sorry, it's been a while, There are some changes / Additions, some are still a work in Progress, but should soon become available.

FYI - Additions to DXF Export from Gcode, to work for lathe and Mill Gcode as required.
Additions to Threading to allow for other G76 Implementations, such as LinuxCNC.
+ a Bit of work to "CAD4LATHE" and the usual Bug fixes.
I seem to have run out of Bugs at the moment, the best time to Find them is the day after I upload an update.

Hello,
i want to use Ezilathe. I create a dxf-file with Librecad and load the file in Ezilathe. I get this result. In line 173
is very very z. The arc is in the wrong side. Can some tell me what i do wrong?
Thanks
Hans

Your DXF Works just fine (See Attached JPG).
You have set O.D.Turning, Cut Left to Right (Cut from the chuck Out towards the Tailstock)???
The order that you select the entities in is Important. Selecting in the reverse order to the direction specified gives a result similar to what your .TXT shows in the simulator. Selecting in the same direction as specified, gave the result shown.

Hello Machtank,
many thanks for your response. I played around with the settings a bit and now I have one that works
G-code created. I turn a test part. The part was fine.
Thanks for your great software.
Hans

Thank you Tweakie. Its a fairly old download, but in recent times I've been adding more bugs than I remove.

However still working on it, just need to be more careful, a new version should be available soon, but is a bit of an uphill struggle nowadays.

Very much appreciated you forwarding that Tweakie, I was finding bit of struggling on CNCZone forum to find anything as everything looks to have changed from a couple of years ago. Luckily I found the right forum and right people to talk to on here.

Really good to hear from you as well Machtank, sometimes even a old bit of software will still out perform a fancy gui that looks the business but has loads of issues, plus its very much on my level.

Ezilathe definitely ticks all the right boxes, had a little bit of a play with Ezilathe this afternoon and I really like the work flow and quite handy having the built in CAD which is ideal.

Good to know that you are still active and tinkering Machtank keep up the good work and its very much appreciated.
Looking forward to the next up date.
