Trying to use Mach 3 with EngraveLab 5
« on: March 15, 2007, 10:25:06 AM »
I am new to Mach 3 and am trying to use it with EngraveLab 5 as the DXF file creation software. So far not much luck. I seem to not be finding the CORRECT filter, since my .25" depth goes to 3/4 inch. Up Z for travel becomes DOWN Z.. and it moves in 100ths of an inch on real time travel which takes 20 minutes to make a 3 inch letter " T "

I suspect I am doing something wrong ....

Are you using Lcam to convert the DXF to Gcode? If so I think you need to see the Lcam video on the Videos page.

Thanks

Actually , I have made progress. I am now using SignLab 7 with the Engravelab module. I find it working better, but still dosen't pass along proper depth, and speed settings.
