What is the Frequency on Diagnostics page, ie is it stable and very close to your kernel?

Hood

Again, "What is the Frequency on Diagnostics page, ie is it stable and very close to your kernel ?"

Are you sure your license is legit ? If not, attempting to thread will surprise you.

I'm sorry, but I'm not quite sure what you are asking for on the diagnostics page. If what you mean is the actual frequency or speed of the spindle, it is consistent and steady at 170 RPM's. As for my kernel speed, it is set to 25000hz. I am running the latest version of Mach(R3.043.066), and yes it is a fully licensed version.

 :)
You might load the Mill screen (1024.set) temporarily and go to the diagnostics screen there.
This is what Hood is looking for.

Sorry about that. I was strictly looking at the Mach3 turn Diagnostics screen. I am currently away from my computer at work. I will check this as soon as I get in tomorrow. Thanks again. Andy.

No problem Andy, should have made mention of that earlier on.
I'm having threading issues on one lathe myself right now.
Looking like a bad PC.
My kernel is also at 25000, but the freq. is over 44000.
Giving me a fit.

Wish ya luck,
Russ

Well....I went to check my frequency on the system and...DEAD. I'm assuming it was the power supply on the computer that gave out. Long story short, I grabbed a newer computer that runs XP pro and it now seems fine. Threads the way it should again. Thank you all for your help. I can finally show the Higher-ups the capabilities of Mach. You guys are the best. :)
