M6start
« on: January 06, 2014, 10:13:19 PM »
I have designed and built a 3 axis cnc router and am adding a tool changer.  I have 3 output pins available as the tool changer has 3 routers mounted on 3 lineal ways controlled using relays/ pneumatic cylinders to drop the correct router in position.  So tool 1. Tool 2. Tool 3

Each cylinder is controlled by a separate signal so pin 14 sends 5 vdc to the tool changer causing tool#1 air cylinder to drop, router to come on, and a G53 to center the X &Y axis to the appropriate position to achieve Z0

Same with pin 16 for tool 2 and pin 17 for tool 3

I need to know how to proceed with making this work using Mach 3 M6start - end using Marco's

I haven't done any programming using Marco's but am a quick learner...

Please help!!!
