Mach 3 issues, offsets for each pass about 0.5mm
« on: December 28, 2013, 08:14:42 AM »
Hi

Have a strange problem with Mach3

For every pass i makes it offsets the cutting patern with 0.5mm ??
Has this something with the motor tuning to do.

Thanks

Børge

Does it offset in one direction, or all directions? Can you post a pic of what it's doing?

Is the spindle perpendicular to the table?

Here is a picture of the problem.
i tried to change the stepover, but dint do anything.
Could it be a motor tuning issue.

Try reducing the acceleration in motor tuning by 50%

Hi guys, and thanks for helping.
It looks like i figured it out.
I reduced the stepping from full to half, and tried again.
This time it was ok.
