And open it in a older version it displays the object totally wrong, doesnt look like what i made..

You didn't describe what is different, but my guess would be different IJ modes.

What i made was a old style Cannon barrel.
In the newest version that can import .DFX files it looks ok.
In the old version it displays a funny line, with weird arcs in different directions.

Wil check the IJ mode tomorrow, is this the correct window to check it.
Should all settings be the same in both programs in his window.
could it be i altered something yesterday when i ran the motor tuning....

Actually, it's the older version that can import .dxf files, which is the screen you've shown. The newer version is a different screen. Config > General Config.
Make sure IJ mode is set to Inc.

Ok so its a lathe, there are another couple of things that can affect how code is processed/displayed in Turn.
One is the toolpost column in the Tool Table. make sure you have them all set to front if its a front post lathe or rear if its a rear post lathe.
Other thing is the reversed arcs in front post, you will get that from Config, then Ports and Pins then Turn Options.

You need to make the name of the xml unique for the forum to accept as it will only allow a file name to be used once. Changing the name to Borge should be safe enough then if you have to attach again Borge1, bORGE2 etc etc.
