How to enter license?
« on: September 15, 2013, 08:46:06 AM »
Dear all,
I have tried to contact Mach3 via the "Contact us" feature, but it returns an error, so here we go:

I am about to buy a license for my Mach3, as I have reached the 500 line limit. Before I order, I have one small question though:
I have looked for the option to enter the license code in the Mach3 software, but are unable to find it in any of the menues.
How does it work? Am I supposed to download a new version?  (I'm a but affraid to spend 175,-, and then find out that I'm stuck. :-) )
Thanks, Robert

The license is a file that you just copy into the Mach3 folder. There is no code to enter. As soon as you copy the file, you're current installation will be licensed when you restart Mach3.

What is the file extension?  How do I know if I am truly licensed?  I bought my mill from a lady 6 months ago and cant seem to get the machine to operate a full speed.  The best I can get is about 1mm / minute.  It appears my charge pump frquency is only running at 94hz instead of 12khz.  Could I have a license problem?

Go to Help>About, and it will tell you who it's licensed to. Mach3 licenses are not transferrable, so you should be purchasing your own license.

Having said that, the charge pump  issue should not be a license issue, unless perhaps if you're using a pirated license/
