Installing new motors
« on: August 19, 2013, 06:50:01 PM »
Hi,
I presently have 3 nema 23, 130 oz motors that I will be replacing with nema 23, 425oz. My question is do I need to re-calibrate my new motors, I'm running Mach3 with hobbycnc pro board.?
Any help in calibration values to input would be appreciated as a starting point  ;)

You should just need to change the velocity and acceleration settings. If you don't change those, then you won't see any difference with the new motors.
