newbe help. just loaded mach3 I did the driver test it was Ok.set all the parameters. went to tune the motors.  the arrow keys change the dros for the correct axis but the steppers wont run . I lowered the speed that didn't help. I took a voltmeter measured between pins 2-18,19 20 21 22 23 I read 3.3 volts is that to low? Why didn't that change when I pressed different arrow keys

Newbie questions. I just loaded Mach 3, tried to set the steppers they wont run. I did the driver test it was fine. I turned down the speeds on the motors that didn't help. I checked the port #1 number it was fine. Is there any way to read the voltage from the port? What pin numbers and what should the voltage be. thank you

Post your xml file that you used.

To attach:
Open Mach as normal and look lower right at the profile name.
Close Mach then look in the mach3 folder on your computer for a file of that name with a .xml file extension.
Right click and copy then go to your desktop and paste it then rename to something like JVE1.xml.
Then on the reply page use the additional options button to browse to your desktop and attach the renamed file.

Jeffrey,
Is your PP  3.5 or 5.5 volt? Some are single voltage and some are dual and usualy there is a jumper to set the dual
ones to high or low voltage. So set it for 5.5 volts. You should see a swing in voltage from 5.0 to say .8 volts on change of direction. Also set / tick the active low or high in Ports ad Pins / Motor Outputs for what's required by the BOB.
