i am going to build a new mill  or router? i am waiting to see how the cnc bridges x2 conversion goes? if it will not work for me i will build a router. i have started collecting electronic parts, such as power supply, gecko 320s motors. i would like to control it with either nc pod or g rex. can someone explain the difference between them? there pros and cons thanks in advance greg ???

The NCPod is a smaller devise that  has only 6 in, 6 out, 6 home inputs and 6axis output. the G100 is 16 in, 16 out, 6 home inputs ,6Axis encoder inputs and 6axis output. The NCPOd is only 75KHz and the G100 is 4 Mhz... For a simple router the NCPod should work great.

so do i understand that with encoders the g rex would be the choice? is it correct that the nc pod would not have enough inputs for the encoders? thanks greg

At this time the NC Pod will not read encoders :( So the G100 or Galil is the only way that you are going to read the encoders at this time.
