Thanks for the advice guys, can I ask what you mean by switching post? If that's what you think I must have dont to cause it to spit out a .tap file with no G-Code then it probably is what I did!

Just an update, looks like it may have been a problem with my flash drive i have been using. I'd save the file, the .tap would have the full code in it, but when i removed it and plugged it back in the .tap file remained but had no code written in it, and the issue seems to have been removed.

Thanks again everyone for your help with a very annoying problem!
