Setting Multiple passes?
« on: November 15, 2012, 06:22:40 PM »
I"m engraving into aluminum and would like to know how to set up multiple passes to get deeper. I keep breaking bits if I try and do it all in one pass.
Can't find a setting for this anywhere and I tried to download the Mach3 manual from the Mach3 website but the english version is corrupt and won't let me download it
I have everything working good except I can't figure this out
Thanks in advance

Tim

Do it in your CAM program, or use the multipass wizard.

Ok thanks
I'm using Microcarve4 and It doesn't have that option as far as I can tell
What would be the most user friendly cam software that i should look into?
Mainly just engraving designs and lettering into aluminum pedal enclosures and want to start making pcb's
not sure how to use the multipass wizard, are there instructions?
