Can I turn Off Cutter COmp on Mach 3 Side?
« on: January 25, 2007, 06:04:17 AM »
Hello,

I am having problems with the Cutter Comp on my Celtic Wine Racks....

I set it to "Comp Left" on the BobCad v20 program side and create the G-code. At some point when I am running it on my CNC machine the cutter comp seems to lose where it is going.

I know the basics only....Can I turn off the cutter comp somewhere in the "Config menu" on Mach 3 ???

thanks
bernie

Cutter comp. is only active if you have a G41 or G42 in your program.

I had the same problem with version 2 so I reverted back to 1.9 and cutter comp works fine.

If you don't want to run the program with cutter comp simply use the diamerter "Zero" in the tool table for your tool.

Can you post the code?

If you don't want to use the comp, you'll need to not use it in BobCAD.
