Today I was determind to resolve my problem why LC could not post the gcode to Mach and I succeded.

My reasoning was since I have a Laptop in my office which has Mach/LC and work fine regading this problem there must be a reason. So after some thinking I discovered that the Laptop had an older Mack vesion (3.042.020) and later I just updated the existing Mach on it with the newer version (3.043.022).

So on the cnc computer in my shop I removed Mach & LC thru the contol panel PLUS I used the registry editor and deleted all entries related to them.

Then I re boot and installed Mach 3.042.020 including LC. After re boot VOILA ! LC now post the gcode to Mach with no problem. Then I installed Mach 3.043.022 on top of the older version including LC and again LC posted the gcode with no problem.

So my conclusion is that the newer Mach/LC version has something which does not allow posting gcode from LC to Mach

I too am having this problem having re-installed the latest lockdown Mach3 version on my new W7 computer. I have messed about with the problem without any success.
Has a solution to the problem been found that does not involve an old version of Mach3?

Hello,
I have recently downloaded the latest mach 3 and lazy cam on two different computers and now have the same problem discussed in {No mach 3 found running dated September of 2012 under Lazy Cam discussions. Was there ever a resolution found for the problem ? My condition is just as described by Nicolas.

Thanks, Scott

Nicolas,

Thank you for your insight into this problem. I will give that a try. You would think they would have repaired the newer version by now. My older installs work as they should as well.
