Bad Character Line 0
« on: August 29, 2012, 10:34:37 PM »
When i create a file in Bobcad V24 and go to load it into Mach 3, everything looks to post correctly but when i hit regen toolpath i get an error code of Bad Character line 0. the g codes start with N01, i noticed others in the forum start with N00. Is this the problem? Is this Mach 3 problem or a Bobcad problem? The file is saved correctly as an NC file with .tap and appears to be fine until i load it to Mach 3. Also the diagram does not show up like with my original text square?

thanks marvin

Something in your first line of g-code is invalid as far as Mach3 is concerned.
Post the entire first line.
N01 is NOT the problem.
