Well that clarifies alot. Thanks. BTW-I bought the Mach from a guy at work so I couldn't say how old it is.

That looks much better. Let me give it a try and I'll let you know how it works.

Well I obviously screwed something up here ???.

I tried to run it and hit the limits. It is showing the program limits to be about 24" x 24"...the size of my cutting area.

The good news is that Mach now shows my tool diamater and my feed speed was crazy. It was at 300. So it is now recognizing the parameters set by Mastercam. I just have to figure out why my drawing is all messed up now.

Any thoughts on that?

Here is an error Mach 3 is giving:
Radius to end of arc differs from radius to start on Line number #32

Found a post about setting the IJ mode from inc to abs. That seemed to fix it. I did a dry run on my good PC and all looks good. The only thing I need to figure out now is the Z movement. By default it sets the cut depth to 0.000. Is that the standard? All of my other test runs I set the material surface to 0.000 and the minimum to however deep I want the cut. In the case of this drawing it is -0.090. Or is it better to keep the minimum set to 0.000 and the maximum set to about .250 above the material surface?

Normally the surface of the material is zero and all cuts in Z are negative.

That's how I had been doing it.

If your code is not being produced with it that way then its either a setting in MasterCAM or maybe your post processor, likely CAM though.

I found it in Mastercam but it is grayed out and I am walking out the door so it will have to wait until later. ???

Made a practice cut and all looked fine. Went ahead and cut it on the good Lexan and it cut pretty nice. Dimensions are good but have a few adjustments to make to perfect it. I think I'm starting to get the hang of this.
